Mr. Kunal Kumar, IAS

Shri. Kunal Kumar, IAS presently holds the position of Joint Secretary & Mission Director (Smart Cities Mission), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India since May 2018. Earlier, he was Municipal Commissioner at Pune Municipal Corporation, Maharashtra for close to 4 years. He has been working in the State of Maharashtra since 1999 and has served across various cities of Maharashtra. Besides travelling, he has an avid interest in reading and follows sports across the world. Shri. Kunal Kumar is an Electrical Engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee, and Masters in Public Management from the National University of Singapore jointly conducted with Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, USA. Shri. Kunal Kumar was awarded by the Prime Minister of India for excellence in AADHAR Governance award during his stint as District Collector of Aurangabad.

Mr. Rahul Kapoor, is currently the Director at Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Prior to this, Mr. Rahul has held several roles in key government departments and ministries throughout his career, ranging from the Ministry of Finance as well as the mammoth Indian Railways.

Our Journey

Magicka was incorporated in 2011 as a strong women entrepreneurial ecosystem by two Indian Women Entrepreneurs, Raizy Bedi and Rabbani Seth. With a simple aim to inspire, encourage and mentor other aspiring women. With their perseverance & persistence along with a dedicated and hardworking team, it is now a strong entrepreneurial platform of over a hundred thousand women members spread across 16 countries. Magicka provides its members with a robust platform to decode the true potential of their respective businesses and streamlining trade practices in a cost-effective manner, further enabling them to expand their horizons.
